The difference of proletarian and fascist architecture as seen by Osbert Lancaster (1908 - 1986) - an English cartoonist, stage designer and writer. On the same page Osbert Lancaster quotes from Geoffrey Scott's book, The Architecture of Humanism: "The history of civilization thus leaves in architecture its truest, because its most unconscious record."

在anArchitecture上看到的漫画.
从另一个方面，这也是一个关于建筑标签和建筑氛围影响因素，及泛建筑学控制力的思考。看到这个漫画就想起朱赛普·特拉尼的法西斯大厦某立面....素面的建筑其实低调后隐，
静观前变...

进而回想实习期间，为了迎合某些历史保守派权威胃口，给立面上挂上实际上建筑师控制之外的“非建筑”的灯笼和牌匾，让它们看起来像其想要的...某种结果。
----那是一场攻守皆施，有关阵地争夺的拉锯战。

haha!! i think architecture is a compromise between x and y ** it's just my viewpoint.....
